Here at Lulubee Design, we firmly believe that great design comes from a collaboration between the client and the designer. We’ll listen, gather all of your ideas and inspiration and translate them into beautiful design that we’ll both love. Whether it’s a identity logo for your business or a wedding invitation for your big day, we’ll work closely together throughout the process to create designs that reflect your personal style and vision!

STEP 1. MEET & GREET

We will begin with a meeting (if you’re in the Los Angeles area), phone call, or even a Skype session to discuss all of your ideas and design needs.

STEP 2. CONCEPTS

We’ll present a proposal and an estimate that outlines the details of the project.

STEP 3. CONTRACT

Once you’ve approved the proposal and decided that we’re a good match, we’ll have you sign a contract and collect a 50% down payment.

STEP 4. DESIGN

We will begin the design process by presenting a PDF of three design concepts for the logo or the main invitation piece. Initial design concepts take 2-3 weeks.

STEP 5. FEEDBACK

You’ll choose one of the design directions and give us your feedback.

STEP 6. REVISIONS

We’ll design the remaining printed pieces and continue through the revision process until we get it perfect (three revisions included at no additional cost).

STEP 7. FINAL APPROVAL

You’ll be asked to sign a print approval form (time to check for any spelling errors & correct info!) and we’ll send all the design pieces to the printer.

STEP 8. PRINT & DELIVERY

Printing and delivery generally takes 2-3 weeks. The finished products will be delivered to you, ready for assembly. A final bill is due before we deliver the finished products!

Custom design is an artistic creation; it is a detailed and thoughtful process, customized to each individual client! We will work together throughout the process to make sure that we are balancing every dreamy detail within your budget. As a general guideline, a custom invitation suite of flat printed 100 invitations, with reply cards and their respective envelopes would start at $1500. Business brand identity pricing starts at $3000. Extras such as specialty printing (letterpress, engraving, thermography), envelope liners, custom maps, assembly, rush fee and delivery shipping charge come at an additional cost.

We understand that sometimes, custom stationary just isn’t in the budget, and that is totally okay (weddings are expensive, after all!). If that’s the case, please check out our shop, where we offer beautiful designs and great options for everyone!
